Did you listen to the actually interview? Stephanopoulos is merely a jockstrap for HRC. Taking advantage at any opportunity to trip him (Trump) up to disguise his misunderstanding as misinformed. Trump I believe realizes the situation in Crimea, why the hell would he be making futuristic promising of his potential administration and add bullet points for news that is already two years old? This is not news

SGT (Join to see) - I can't knock a guy for losing his place in conversation. I have a short fuse and allow it to affect my speaking. But what I saw here was Trump feeling he was making progress and then being asked a question that in his thoughts wasn't relevant. The guy is potentially taking office 2017, why is 2014 being thrown in his face?

SGT (Join to see) - I do remember, but I say again, he has no influence on the past, we're talking future, what he plans to do during his administration.

Trump is correct. The Crimean Peninsula has changed hands and populations frequently throughout history. It was annexed to the Soviet Socialist Republic of the Ukraine during, but the population was largely Russian. So, there are plenty of grounds for dispute and it was the inept diplomatic leadership of President Obama, that allowed Russia to act on its claim. Does that mean that Russia will once again annex the Ukraine as a Soviet Republic? Of course not. Russia doesn't have the resources to reestablish the Soviet empire (unless, of course, the West is unwilling to stop him). Now, be honest, if diplomatic ignorance or ineptitude were important, would Obama be President?

wiki says 2001 census showed 17.3% of ukranians claiming russian lineage either by being russian born or of russian lineage parents.be honest, alternative facts are easy to spread and require action to be disproved.
