How much more is needed to show that evangelical Christians are dangerously deluded? Cheering for the end of the world, where it is only their belief that things will be better afterwards? Really? What if they are wrong? They could light off the end of the world, be wrong, and the rest of us are just screwed.

Capt Gregory Prickett Sick! They Think it is Their Duty to Force Gods Hand and Fulfill the Prophecy of Revelations. With this Kind of Methodology they just might make it a Self Fulfilling Prophecy. I Find it Vile and Disgusting and Probably the Most Un-Christian Thing I've Ever Heard Of.

Are you really going to shoe horn Pascal's wager...? When you have decried it before.

The fallacy of your point is that most evangelical Christians don't give such thoughts the time of day. There is nothing...NOTHING!!! that any mortal soul can do to hasten or to delay the end of days. To claim otherwise, is hubris (on the part of the one claiming they can hasten or delay the end of days, not on your part).

Capt Gregory Prickett - I didn't suggest you feared or even believed in the Bible or God. I know that you don't. I know you have read it and have some knowledge of it based upon your posts. You know what the Bible says about the end of times. No man will know the time or date. The plan is Gods and it is unfolding on his plan, not ours. You don't have to believe it to acknowledge that is what the Bible says and all of the rest of your chatter on this is hyperbole.

Cpl Jeff N. - yeah, it seems that he can't take criticism of how he handled the situation, so he used his admin power to make sure that others didn't see the commentary. He's got the perfect right to do so, he's an admin, but it does say something about his character.

Interesting story on NPR today. Three evangelical scholars all agreed that the so called evangelicals who claim such things and vote for trump are not true evangelicals.
