Looks like they have their numbers about right. 8 to 10 inch rise since 1918, a century ago. I like Ms. Bayer and I think she's a smart woman, and not because we both graduated from Nat'l Defense University. She's also smart because she answered in Congressional testimony in a way that holds her accountable for very little. She may have 101 "top" priorities, and this is one of them. One seldom-talked about benefit of sea level rise...fewer sand-bar strikes and easier navigation in shallow inlets.
