I knew Trump would lie and attack Biden. Trump has very little to brag about.

Biden is on record as agreeing to shift funds from Police Departments to Social Programs, Biden is also on record as wanting to continue the Obama program of denying Police surplus military equipment like armored cars. In effect Wallace split hairs on the issue. While Biden never stated he wanted to abolish the police he has stated he wanted to reduce their budgets via shifting funds which by any other name is DEFUNDING them. This whole exchange doesn't bother me. Bothers me that liberals on RP read only headlines and have no clue where Biden stands on issues......thats another issue though. Biden will never win the election and will go down in bigger flames than Hillary's campaign did. That is really going to be the sad part of this election cycle. Because an average 5th grader should have been able to beat Trump this year.

SPC Kevin Ford - Did you read what you posted? In DoD's case the money is staying within the DoD. In Bidens case the money is moving OUT of the PD. This is the recurring problem with you and stats, you post stats as evidence to your argument and you never read the stats or you do not understand them.

SPC Erich Guenther - No, you just shift around your standards to meet what you want to say. The money we are talking about is staying within the general area of response to public emergencies which is the equivalent of the umbrella "DoD" standard you want to apply for what you support.
So for community response you look at a very narrow definition slice and say they are defunding that but when it comes to what you support you expand your definition to be the whole area of defense and as long as it stays there you claim nothing is being "defunded".

SPC Kevin Ford - Look at the local budget PD minus Social Services plus. Its like saying the PD is the same as Social Security or Unemployment Insurance. It isn't

SPC Erich Guenther - It's all part of public safety and response of which the police department is a small part. It's the equivalent of just looking at the Army's budget and saying it was was defunded because a Army program went away and the money moved to the Marine Corps.
It all depends at what level you want to arrange the budgetary buckets and you are arranging them in a way that supports your argument and I'm arranging them in a way that supports mine. It points to the idea that if we can just do what we are doing to show our points, there probably isn't any there there.

Gee I am online with Europeans several times a month and they say as far as COVID is concerned the United States is better off than Europe. But the Liberals in the United States say just the opposite. Now I wonder who is right, the people that live in Europe or the Liberals in the United States? Gee that is a tough one.

Oh gee, even the Wall Street Journal states Liberals are bending the truth when it comes to Europe............
