I love logic. Putin drinks vodka. I drink vodka. OMG! I'm a Communist. Well, it makes as much sense as the US aligns with Syria...

MAJ James Woods - Isn't it funny that the US which didn't sign the Kyoto Accord accomplished more in the reduction of greenhouse gases than those that did?

CPT Jack Durish - True. We didn't commit to it under H.W. Bush, Clinton, or Bush when it was introduced in '92, '97, and '05. We didn't get involved with the Doha Amendment in '12 with 37 other countries. Now we watch US finally get involved in the Paris Agreement in '15 only to hear condemnation from those in league with fossil fuel industry followed by withdrawal in '17. Wonder who led the resistance effort against the Kyoto and Doha agreements...hmmmm. Seeing a possible trend in our environmental political policy.

We are supposed to be trained to see through propaganda. Trump cancelled an Executive Order that Obama knew wouldn't make it as a treaty in the Senate. The Paris Accords are a scam to decrease America's economic might. No wonder why all the other countries live it. Duh!

SSgt Ryan Sylvester - Oh do tell. What leverage do we have? Considering we're one of the top 2 (other being China) polluters in the world and supposed to be the global leader in setting example, yeah of course we have a heavy burden cause we can handle it and grow from it. They aren't losing their cash cow but we have lost their respect which hurts us a hell of a lot more.

It's kind of funny to see prime minister Merkel of Germany get upset saying we need to take care of ourselves when we've been taking care of them. She is mad because she is being asked to supply tanks Infantry and air power to her area by implementing the 2% of GDP toward defense which Germany Canada and many others do not do within NATO and then claiming they need to think about themselves some more. What maybe they're thinking more about their health care or their mandatory five or six weeks of vacation a year when you start on a job since they already charge like $2 a gallon more for gas and we pay to subsidize their socialized health care but they can't take care of their 2% of GDP towards the defense of NATO? That's crazy that they should not acknowledge their failure and instead criticize president Trump. Maybe at the same time they should acknowledge that there is a refugee problem in those countries and acknowledge that there are no go zones due to police afraid to step in because they're afraid of the Muslim refugees. Germany is becoming like Sweden and denying the obvious in more subjects than one

This was nothing but a tax on western countries most notably the USA. I am glad we are out of this. You want to help the environment, start at home. Give up your car. Sell your big house and go live in a tiny home. The international community must treat all countries equally in these kinds of things. Don't tax us to give the money to india. That is BS. How about a simple treaty like reducing emissions 5% across the board for every country. Penalties for countries who don't meet that goal. I am not against environmental protection legislation or treaties. I am against presidents signing us up for treaties on their own because it is the job of congress to approve treaties. I am also against international legislation that punishes us while letting china skate! Do you know why most solar silicon in the world is produced in china? It is because it is a very dirty process to produce it and china has basically zero pollution controls for their industry.

So, yes its great to want to be "green" but at what expense to ourselves and to the rest of the world?

They're investing more into alternative energy options more than we are and are more open to making changes than we are; so yeah, they're trying to get a handle on their crap better than we are.

SN Greg Wright - My favorite, with CNG coming in at a close second.

As of 2016, there are 3 hydrogen cars publicly available in select markets; the Toyota Mirai, the Hyundai ix35 FCEV, and the Honda Clarity. Toyota launched its first production fuel cell vehicle, the Mirai, in Japan at the end of 2014 and began sales in California, mainly the Los Angeles area, in 2015.
