We need to demand more from our leaders, if they want to say news is fake... then back it up with hard facts, not more partisan blathering. If those "facts" are proven wrong over and over again, then the problem isn't fake news it's partisan politics.

He will never admit to that. It would mean he was not perfect and his ego could not stand that.

It's not his words, it the media criticizing him that is stirring up all this division and hatred. And I'm sure there are very fine people on both sides. /s

And from SHS, at the podium today for the WH press briefing:
When asked what media outlets were "enemies of the people", her response was "I'm not going to walk through a list. I believe those individuals know who they are. ...At times I think there's individuals that the president would be referencing." When asked why does he keep attacking the press, her response was "Well, stop criticizing him then."

SrA John Monette - And then when pushed about the fact that Our Dear Leader on Twitter today blamed the media for the division and hatred, SHS had this to say: ""No, the president's not placing blame. The president's not responsible for these acts. (bombs sent in the mail/shooting at the temple)" The doublespeak is absolutely obfuscation in its highest form.

I don't remember anyone saying he's responsible for these acts. what he is responsible for is the divisiveness in the country, which gets worse every time he opens his piehole

SrA John Monette - I agree. The conflation of what is actually said (and no one said he is responsible for the acts but is responsible for fanning the flames of hatred) and the response when questioned about it has become the ultimate in doublespeak from this administration. If I were a reporter, I would walk in with reams of paperwork at the ready....uh, no Sarah, here are the actual tweets from the president at 3:00 a.m. this morning; uh, no Sarah, here are all the (fill in the blank of what was actually said). Probably get me thrown out of the press room.
