That's the first half of the story. Now we'll have to wait for the rest of it. Will lifting travel restrictions have any effect on the spread of the coronavirus?

Speaking from vantage point of working for DoD in NM we’re still required to follow DoD, organizational, and state level COVID19 risk mitigation policies like physical distancing, limited in person meetings, self reporting symptoms, self quarantining, and face masks. So if people do the right thing then the spread should be controllable.

How long do you think it would take for them to change the PCS leave back to normal ?

SGT(P) (Join to see) When they have a working vaccine, a stocked supply, and a process in place to treat military personnel and dependents. Till then we’ll continue to have risk mitigation protocols for military, civilian, and contractor personnel for PCS and TDY movements (destination dependent). Just less restrictive than what we have now.
