I didn't know about the Tulsa Massacre until I was an adult nor Emmett Till...there's a lot of things in US history alone (don't even start on world history) I didn't learn until I was an adult and learned it on my own or from POC educating me. But there are people who want to sit there and erase all that because it makes the US 'look bad' or whatever nonsense excuse. Or they want to water down the atrocities.

I agree. The public school system is much more watered down than from yesteryear -- bring back history, civics, shop, home ec, Phy Ed... hell math and rnglish too is some cases
