I am going on a tangent. The segment of the population who refuse the vaccines will reach herd immunity the hard way. They will be subjected to contract COVID and a small percentage will die. Roughly 23% of the COVID cases will have potentially significant and life altering side effects. Many of these people will learn that the hard way was not the right way.

The more we pollute, the more we expand, the more we enter wild ecosystems the more of a chance we will cause zoological viruses to cross jump species to us.

This one is not over yet and given the lack of vaccinations another variation which will be more deadly.

Its just going to keep mutating like influenza but the goal is to prevent illness vacation to prevent serious illness and death. With the delta variant here now in the us if it mutes into something worse we can only blame our southern neighbors and ourselves for not trying hard enough to get vaccinated.
