In 1993, composer John Williams' theme for Jurassic Park defied traditional monster-movie musical tropes – instead of horror, Williams wrote a hymn for Steven Spielberg's summer movie smash. And, true to form for Williams, its grand melody has been unforgettable ever since.

We Air Force vets are proud to call John Williams one of our own, as he served for 3 years during the early 1950s with the USAF Band and remembers his time in the Air Force as a great source of inspiration for a lot of his movie scores.

SMSgt Anil Heendeniya I Remember seeing the Movie at NAS Alameda, CA. Now My Second Oldest Granddaughter doesn't share My Enthusiasm for Dinosaurs. Taking Her to a Couple of Anamatronic Displays at the Portland and Kansas City Zoo when she was Little. Probably Scarred Her for Life.
