It is important to note that the social security gun ban disproportionately affects veterans, who are stripped of their constitutional rights (ironically that they served to defend) without due process.

SGM (Join to see) - I understand that. However, if they are not adjudicated as mentally defective there is no problem, Veteran or no.

MSG Stan Hutchison - it's not just an adjudication of mental defectiveness (although several in the DNC have proclaimed that *all* vets have PSTD and can't be trusted with firearms), if a veteran has someone else handle their financial affairs, the VA can (and often will) make the charge that they're not mentally competent.

I am a life-time, devoted Democrat who follows the issues closely and I have never seen or heard of anything like that coming out of the DNC.

" the VA can (and often will) make the charge that they're not mentally competent."
To take your guns, one must be "adjudicated" mentally defective by a judge, not just the VA.
