Thanks for sharing. Openstack is really interesting. I've been training on it in my downtime for over a month now, thanks to PO3 Rick Kundiger 's Awnix and PLUMGrid computer based training.
Sideline, what are your thoughts on choosing a specialty within the Open Source / Linux world ? I'm browsing through Canonical's jobs listing right now.

Really depends on what you want to do. There's data bases, net admin, web support. I personally like Network Administration. I want to get my Red Hat certs. The demand for Linux certified admins has gone up in the past few years and that trend is not stopping anytime soon. I subscribe to the philosophy that you should do what you love. My advice, chase your dreams. Your job will find you.

SN (Join to see) - I'm working on Linux + but I'd prefer to do sys/net admin tasks as well. I enjoy web stuff but I'm not a great designer.

SGT (Join to see) Sounds like you're already on your way to specializing. I do recommend trying to get your RedHat certs after you get Linux+, it will open lots of doors for you.
