Thos is way off base. Military medical, especially outside the Navy's USNS ships, is designed for, intended for, and funded for support of military operations. It should jot re-focus for domestic missions. Ever. We already HAVE a civilian health care system. Arguments can be made about the funding, capability, and efficacy of said system, but using the military medical system as a permanent and intended shpplement is wrong-headed in the extreme.
This would be tje equivalent of stating that we should just permanently attach and AD Infantry Battalion to every state police department because the military is far better at handling riots and has rhe infrastricture to rapidly deploy Soldiers for searches (manhunts) or security.
Bad idea.
