When we think about Theoretical Physicists, Astrophysicists, Regular Physicists, etc., we usually think of a very serious minded individual in each of those categories! Well this one will blow you mind as Neil deGrasse Tyson gets interviewed on the Stephen Colbert show... It is a whole different experience...with the two way communication between Colbert and Tyson...and the audience!!! It is kind of fun, yet the discussion is about a serious topic of the Universe...

I have thought about this myself - for (at some point in the future) the sky will be dark except for the stars in our Galaxy. This is billions and billions of years from now. But a person with a telescope would be forced to conclude we are the only Galaxy in the Universe. And would we still be here, or some such thinking being? Because the earth would be long gone by then. So does this mean, in some far flung future, ignorance will be the most we can achieve?
