I am an introvert and must agree that this article is largely inclusive of those things by which I identify myself. It's not something I intended but rather a condition that life thrust upon me. As the child of an abusive father, I retreated into my own head and discovered a storyteller who protected me with tales of worlds far better than the one in which I lived. It became my role in life to explore the outside world to collect people for my internal storyteller. Thus, I avoided becoming a recluse (which is the extreme, unhealthy version of an introvert). The stories I now write are not mine, but rather the creative product of that internal storyteller. I'm just the typist.

Thanks for sharing such personal words. The graph about writing caught me off guard. Before ETS, I'd have never expected to enjoy the challenge of fine-tuning my thoughts into words as I'm a much better writer than speaker, though that means little.
