The Last World War II U-Boat Commander Has Died at 105

This Valiant captain who chickened out from abandoning ship after attacking American shipping in view of Spectators on the beach was awarded German medals but he pissed off Adolf Hitler telling him that he was dedicating too much effort on the Eastern front and not enough to the U-Boat effort in the Atlantic.
