Thanks for reminding us SGT (Join to see). In the mid-to-late 1960s I was a budding teenager who enjoyed watching Star Trek. We only had a black and white TV so I was somewhat shocked to learn the shows were filmed in color :-)

LTC Stephen F. We only had black and white, but I did watch it every Friday in color because I would stay at my grandparents every weekend, and they had one. Fond memories.

I'm with you, couldn't figure out what all the commotion about Spock's green ears was about. We got a color TV for Christmas and then it made sense.

Me too. The series premiered on my wife's birthday, we hadn't met yet, so she got to watch whatever she wanted and chose Star Trek. Fast forward a few years and we would both make sure we didn't miss an episode. Kind of agree that original is best, but they're all good.

In the Mirror Universe, Spock faces a choice that determines the future of the Terran Empire.
Here is a sequel to A Star Trek episode of Mirror Mirror. Redone to the old Star Trek set with actors that look and sound similar to the original crew but it answers the question what would have happened had the bad Spock taken Captain Kirk's advice and tried to do things right in a bad evil Empire. USS Defiant (The other one...)

Just found this is a prequel to a as well as an extension of the tholian web that actually goes into two different parallel universes and acquires technology a hundred years ahead of its time and Nick says that with the good and bad mixture of future Starship with the past parallel universe Empire. I wish I had the whole episode but here's bits and pieces. I recently saw part of this episode Army lieutenants who was receiving weekly DVDs of local programming Circa 2005.

Many today claim Picard is the best captain but there was a chemistry with Kirk, Spock, McCoy by the original cast that Roddenberry made masterful. The original will always be the best.
