My take: The Entertainment media's new obsession with recasting movies / series with the opposite Gender of the original, is woke-ishly exasperating. However, this spinoff isn’t too bad (so far). Decent story lines, and actress Latifah makes an admirable presence in the role; besides deftly rescuing people, she’s a protective parent and good person. There's no bad language, nudity, gore in it. Men aren’t denigrated. (Season 1)

Some women do it better in the remakes, but it's hard to do better than Denzel. Lol!

SGT (Join to see) You're right, Denzel was more commanding in that role as a formidable, strong man. But there’s far more gore in the DW Equalizers (1,2), not my thing.
