Happy RED Friday, Rally Point!

Be candid, don't hide the truth under a bushel. Open, timely communication by leaders is critical to keeping any organization running on an even keel. On the other hand, be sure to be factual and fair, unlike Calvin in his overly frank, and even mean spirited, appraisal of poor Suzie.

Rest in Peace, Brother Mark, we will miss you.

SMSgt David A Asbury - I about went into mourning when The Far Side finished on the first day of 1995, and Calvin and Hobbes finished the last day of the same year. Almost wasn't worth reading the paper after that.

I hope that you and I are sincerely making progress is demonstrating candor, adroitness and sensitivity in dealing with others who are going through difficult issues, challenges and trial of varying sorts. I expect the sanctifying of our souls by the Holy Spirit is maturing us spiritually in the fruit of compassion, goodness and patience. Hopefully we are doing much better in demonstrating the faith. 'But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. [James 1:22-23 ESV] my brother-in-Christ 1SG Steven Imerman.

I lift the President of the U.S.A. Donald Trump, progressive democrat candidate Joe Biden, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Senate majority leader Addison Mitchell McConnell Jr., US Congress members, their staffs, the state legislatures, the mayor of Seattle, Washington Jenny Durkan the governor of Washington Jay Robert Inslee, mayor of Portland, Oregon Ted Wheeler, governor of Oregon Kate Brown, governor of California Gavin Christopher Newsom, governor of Michigan Gretchen Esther Whitmer, mayor of New York City Bill de Blasio to YOU LORD. I pray for an increase in candor, respect for opponents and their constituents, and honesty in written and spoken communications.
I pray for significant increase in sincere candor, love and respect between married couples and throughout families across this nation. Let YOUR light shine through each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters and love radiate through us to our neighbors, friends and any else YOU intend to benefit.
I lift widows and widowers and other grieving death of family members, friends and relationships to YOU. I pray that YOU bless them with spontaneous joy in the midst of their grief and build up their hope in YOU. “Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your Maker is your husband, the LORD of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. [Isaiah 54 4-5 ESV]
I pray that each deployed service member, civilian, their family members and the families of missing in action have true friends who stand up when called to and offer support whether asked for or not.
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Friday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Saturday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Thank you CW5 Jack Cardwell...

"When leaders want to create an open culture where people are willing to speak up and challenge one another, they often start by listening. May you always be a part of that type of culture and environment going forward in the future. May you always have a positive attitude and project that in everything you communicate and say to others when you're speaking up and challenge the norm; may you always keep yourself in the best condition possible to take on those challenges in a positive and respectful fashion, and always keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy during these uncertain times in our American history. It's important to be candid and it's important to be respectful and professional. 'Leaders say why they mean and mean what they day!' Have a blessed "R.E.D. Friday" and enjoy the weekend." — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
