They are now in their 80s but it took over 60 years before they started to get relief. Congress, the DoD, and the VA stalled just as they did with Agent Orange. What's not so surprising is claims were denied because of lack of proof, proof they could not provide because the tests were classified. Near the end of the article it is cited that over 20 years the VA claimed it could locate only 610 of those involved in the tests, yet the two reporters over a two month period found twice that many.

Well of course the Politicians and the VA will deny deny deny. What about Tuskegee Syphilis Study in the study it initially involved injecting 600 black men. So it's not unbelievable that our government will use us as guinea pigs. Although it's despicable and unfortunate.
