On January 29, 2002, Harold Russell, Canadian-American actor, died from a heart attack at the age of 88. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Best Years of Our Life. The most poignant scene in the movie was when Wilma expressed her love for Homer even though he has no hands.
