The Navy announced last Friday the five semi-finalists for the FFG(X). FFG(X) stands for fast frigate, guided, experimental and will effectively replace the Littoral Combat Ship shipbuilding program.

Are they going to continue with the rest of the LCS building program? From the article yesterday it appeared, at one time the Navy was going for 30 ships instead of the original 40.
