The 1985 Sigonella Incident

PO1 Nagel, thank you for this post. It brought back the memory from 1985 when I was stationed at NAS Sigonella as a hospital corpsman. Those of us living off base were called to return to the base that evening. The atmosphere was quite intense. Interesting to hear again what was taking place on the international scene while we were preparing for possible casualties.
