This forgot to mention if you have DV plates (50%+ disability), you can park for free at any airport (to include the short term parking) and at city parking meter. You also are exempt from paying at all Texas toll roads. Additionally, if your disability warrants it, you can get a handicap emblem on your DV plate as well (it was offered to me but I turned it down as I did not need it for my disabilities). Not long ago the handicap emblem wasn't required if you had a DV plate, but that rule has changed.
