Four years ago when this started, male teachers who engaged in sexual activity with students were castigated, arrested, and had the book thrown at them, while the public outcry against them was high. Meanwhile, the public opinion of female teachers who engaged in the same activity was to joke about it, praise the boys for catching some hot tail, etc, and when I spoke up that this was just as wrong as what the men were doing, and just as damaging to the boys, I was lambasted as a prude, etc. I'm glad to see that at least in this circle, people recognize these female teachers as the despicable predators they are.

I think it's ridiculous that boys get high fived when a female teacher takes advantage of them but a male teacher does it (to a male or female student) oh man people are out for blood. I don't care what gender any adult is - if someone molests my daughter or takes advantage of her especially as a minor they better hope the cops get them. If I had a son and a female teacher or adult had sex with him as a minor they better hope the cops get them.

Has anyone seen "That's My Boy" with Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg? Change the genders of the character Sandler plays and the teacher and it goes from a comedy to a drama. That whole movie premise is Sandler's character as a 6th grader or maybe 7th grader knocks up his teacher. She goes to prison - he raises the kid. It's a comedy.

I never saw, but heard about the movie. It sadly did not do well at box office. Along with deteriorating reputation of cast, the actual issue of teacher-student fraternization is not funny.

Sad part is. She could give it away to someone her age. These predators like the control aspect of the relationship. Remove cell phones from schools. Go back to land lines in homes and have teachers talking to parents again.
