In Tennessee we don't have an income tax but they make up for it in property taxes and sales tax. I just go a notification last week that my property tax will be increasing due to reassessment value. It will be going up over 40% from last year for my vacant land and over 80% for my house property.

Cpl. Burk, I am dealing with the same thing here in KS. Our property taxes are going up every year. Combined with Lawrence being a sanctuary city for the homeless, genderless, abortionists, illegals and every other freebie seeker and we can barely keep our head above water. By the way, water is over 300$ a month in the summer.
