Stryker Brigade takes over base support and force protection ops in Iraq, sans Strykers

Looks like playtime is over.

With the elections coming up in Iraq next month, some of their candidates have said they want all combat troops out of their country by the end of the year. It's only natural for things like this to happen which in my view, is a big mistake. It's like we're telling our troops to go into a warzone defenseless. Not having the tools to fully defend yourself is a recipe for disaster.
