Sad to see a coach getting involved. He has a lot riding on this season now, because this "loyalty ding" has sky-lined him with owners. Maybe they support the effort and he knows it. Villanueva has earned the right to do as he pleases and if they get rid of him over this he needs to be on another team anyway. I've seen him on USAA commercials portrayed as a family guy. He has the same right to stand that the rest have not to, and even more because he's defended the rights. It's a shame when the guy that leans toward his patriotism has to later almost apologize. Especially when he's a former Ranger with a BSM. That's what happens when politics is played in pro sports.
