Wow! That is a very generous reading of the documents.
Funny how they mentioned hearings, had Trump's Republican party allowed for witnesses during the ACTUAL TRIAL maybe some of this would have been brought to light in discovery. Even better, had any of the Republican House members actually taken the hearing seriously maybe they could have brought this forward.
It's horse hockey, but hey, you could at least have tried to not wipe your asses on the Constitution.

Except the President’s own lawyers admitted he used quid-pro-quo and deviated from Congressional mandates during the trial. They simply argued he is authorized to violate laws because he’s the President. I’m paraphrasing, but that’s the reasoning they provided and that’s all the Republican Senators needed to sell their souls. Some even echoed the stupid arguments with glee. That’s right, the President can do that because he’s President.
At least one Republican had the integrity to tell the truth.
