I tend to put a delete X on an entire page of incoming Emails then look for Emails I know the sender and intend to open and remove the X, so when I hit the delete all button at the top it only leaves the ones I intend to read or look at. There is so much fraud out there I think of it every time I check My Email. The same goes for any Telephone solicitations I will not do business or even talk with anyone or contribute to anyone that makes telephone solicitations ever ! It seems even being on a do not call registry I still get bothered daily by these parasites and pest !

We also have to watch out for spoofing with both emails and phone calls. It makes the sender look like someone we know and trust. Once you open it the code goes to work and does its thing. For the phone they can make the call look like a local call with the 3 digit prefix for your area. Not as much concern with the calls, but the method is the same. With mobiles they can plant code once you answer. One app can even turn your phone into a microphone, once it installs. They can monitor your home even if the phone is turned off. The only way to defeat it is to remove the battery. There are no warning signs other than the phone starting and shutting down a bit more slowly.
