Throughout our lives we will all be faced with different arduous tasks. How we complete them help to define us.

PO1 H Gene Lawrence So sorry to hear about your wife, sounds like a relaxing visit with daughters turned into something quite else. Keep us posted on her status and when your surgery has been rescheduled.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - I did not want her to go because she was having some swelling in her feet. The flight to and from was not good for her, IMHO. The first day in Washington she went to Doc in the box, but they did nothing for her. When she got back it had only gotten worse. I will update on my surgery when rescheduled, for sure sir.

It appears the test has changed a good bit since the days when I earned mine.
It was a proud day when the ADC awarded mine in a special presentation and knowing what it takes to earn it garners my immediate respect for those who wear it.
Thanks for the post Sgt. Mac!

My pleasure LTC Wayne Brandon . Great respect for all whom has earned it. Earned mine 1979. I am sure it is quite different now.

SGT John " Mac " McConnell - Earned mine in '81; had to wait for the Army to officially acknowledge my branch transfer to Infantry and make MP my secondary MOS.
Took them nearly 18 months to get that squared away.
