Maybe this can help sir. This guy was told to stop a few times but kept on going. The Marine Corps final ended it. I use him as a case study/example of what not to do when I teach Social Media Best Practices. The Army and military as a whole looks at social media posts as a yard sign or verbal language when it comes to UCMJ. I also tell people not to friend subordinates or superiors to avoid accidents or miscommunication.
If someone is talking smack, you can always take print screens. They go great with a counseling statement. Of course you should consult one of the awesome Ind JAG officers in an avenue concerning social media and UCMJ.

Maybe I'm missing something, Sir. The articles quoted in UCMJ seem straight forward to include Command responsibility. As stated get JAG involved from the getgo.
