1LT Susan Bailey - I agree that it is cruel, and she should be allowed to transition and go by female standards. However, she can have patience like the rest of us. I am still required to be in male standards, and I'm not a traitor to my country.

Idk, while we may still have to abide by male standards, we have (somewhat) the choice to leave the service. While I agree that what she did was wrong, she is there against her will and those standards seem like a double punishment.

SGT Laura Delgadillo - I agree, and she should be allowed to transition as soon as possible. However, if there were a table of priorities of who transitions first (thank goodness there isn't), then people currently in active duty service should be allowed to transition before an inmate who will be staying behind bars until she is 60.

She has a ghost writer that she talks to over the phone. Other people can do this but they are not a "celebrity" in the Tech world and the Trans world.

SGT (Join to see) - They deserted their duty, and for an officer that is failure of command. You are protecting the men that helped make Bergdhal which only makes more Bergdhals when you do not hold commander accountable.

CPT Pedro Meza, Sir, no offense but that is horse shit. I didn't like getting shot at and thinking about my life may be over soon, but I was like all of the other combat vets in Vietnam, and stood my ground and helped my buddies instead of running out on them. This can't be blamed on his low life father, or his command, but the fact is, he was at a post for a reason, and was such a coward, he ran off and left his buddies one man short. I can't blame his cowardness on anyone but himself. What's worse, is Obama supports him too. He probably thinks Bergdhal is a hero for what he did. He sure hasn't pushed the issue to proceed faster, and for him to receive his punishment, he's probably not going to get.

SGT (Join to see) - He was a mental case that was kicked out of the Coast Guard, and one NCO reported him, this NCO did his duty and Bergdhal chain of command did not do their duty. As for being a coward, cowards do not go into enemy territory un-armed, only a mental case dose that. As for pushing this case faster you can not deny him Due Process, which with time will expose the failure of the first sergeant and company commander. That is why it is taking so much time.

Yes the issues are her own making, but what takes place in a prisons becomes the issue of the warden making, so to answer what expectations are made of her all I hope are based on laws, because prisons fall under laws and standards of operation; warden's issues.
