PO1 Tony Holland They should be required to recall and correct all of the handguns that are impacted. This is a safety issue and the wrong drop on the range could get someone killed.

I own SIG P229 40. S&W it's good weapon SGT Brown. The Sig pistols do have some durability problems in terms of military use but for law enforcement it has worked wonders that's why groups like the FBI Secret Service and DSS use the SIG P228 357. SIG

You got a point SGT Brown the problem with this Gun SIG made it was entirely expiremental and they took some uncharacteristic shortcuts in its development.

PVT Mark Brown - The Sig P320 underwent testing designed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the Sporting Arms Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute, Inc. (SAAMI®), and the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). None of which require the gun to be dropped at every conceivable angle. The Sig P320 fires, sometimes, when dropped at one specific angle referred to as negative 30 degrees.. They dropped the guns on the muzzle, they dropped them on the rear of the slide, they dropped them on the sides, they just didn't drop them at a negative 30 degree angle because no testing standard requires that. You can bet that those organizations are re-evaluating their testing standards.

LCpl Arthur Forbes - Because Glock is an over rated boat anchor. I had a few, they jammed when even my cheap pistols performed. Glock is on several law enforcement agencies not authorized list due to jamming. I would NEVER entrust my families safety to a Glock.

I would be willing to overcome my hesitation of owning this pistol if they gave me one. I promise not to drop it.
