Having read the article, here is my takeaway. The author (Frank Kendall) thinks Rear Admiral Colin Green should resign and all other senior officers should follow his lead to protect the military institutions they lead? This is the hill they should die on for the good of the institution? Please.

Secretary of the Navy, Richard Spencer bypassed his chain of command and tried to cook up a crack deal with the WH and was fired for doing so. Richard Spencer violated the values and ethos of the Navy and deserved to be fired.

Frank Kendall - "What still remains to be seen, is whether or not our senior military leadership will passively accept the damage that has been done." If Frank Kendall is representative of senior leadership that has made a career living and working in the Pentagon, then perhaps they should all resign. Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way. See the Defense Business Board's McKinsey report for the true values and ethos of the bureaucratic DoD.

And another hit piece from one of our resident Trump hater. Trump is the recipient of a military driven by social engineering to a point of being nothing like what Mattis noted as lethality. Far more to copy the hedonism so popular with the left. Excellent leadership in the military breeds excellent results. And it’s easy to criticize when you have never served at the point of the spear.
