No where in the Constitution does it say that the President had to have served in the military. Both parties have used this as a litmus test to prove their bona fides. Well, don't remember that Bernie or Hillary served. Bernie was too busy writing porn and Hillary was vacay'ing in USSR....

SSgt Ray Stone - The adults are talking here, why don't you go play outside since you can't obviously contribute rationally to a conversation without devolving into a 3 year old.

SSgt Ray Stone - John McCain has managed to earn a little disrespect over the years. He never quite got over that failed presidential bid all those years ago.. IMO. His Laurels mattered. He,can't rest on them. The man has become a public embarrassment regularly.. He has his good days. He has his bad days. It's sad to see a man not step down when he should. Unfortunately I think that often enough it is the officials retinue... enjoying the power...who doesn't let him retire.

PO3 Bob McCord - Lie. what facts were twisted?. Did or did not Pres Bone spurs disrespect the family of a war hero and Sen Mccain whom had the guts to fight for his country unlike he who relied on fictional bone spurs to dodge the war

A cheap shot without any merit. She stands in the gutter.

Any merit? If anyone has merit, it's someone who has lost their legs serving.

Susan Foster - Losing your legs in combat doesn't make you any more or less of a soldier, sailor or airman. Its unfortunate but good soldiers lose limbs and they were standing right next to someone who didn't lose any limbs. Pilots crash helicopters and the wreckage and forces in motion during a crash crush limbs and make it necessary to save the individual by amputating her legs. If anything I think that she is being cynical and is using the loss of her legs to lift herself up onto some pedestal where she can make societal judgement calls on others who didn't serve in the military. Shame on her. Like PO3 Wagner said she would have been better off just keeping her mouth shut. Instead she has belittled herself.

SFC Jim Ruether - Although you are correct that losing a limb, in itself, doesn't make you more of a soldier, in her case I disagree. She has proven herself as a veterans advocate much more so than most I know, and this definitely includes POTUS. She only offended you because it was 45 she was talking about. If it had been a Dem, you would have praised her. http://www.politifact.com/personalities/tammy-duckworth/

Yes Duane, I get it. You aren’t a Trump fan. So instead of posting foolish baloney from a foolish Illinois Junior Senator?..... Duckworth? No wonder the woman is angry. A name like that must’ve made her grow up fast and grow up mean... I seem to recall some other Jackass of an Illinois junior senator making a name for himself?.. Or was it made for him?
I don’t give a tin shit about her legs...in this context..Duane. It’s irrelevant, a non sequitor, a phony sympathy play from a woman who has ridden her personal tragedy into a Senate seat.
She may be quite the outstanding individual, honorable and duty bound. However, piss on her Trump trolling. In doing so she simply looks like a moron. Better to have kept her friggin mouth shut and been given the respect she is due. All she did here was position herself poorly for the future.
Whoopdedoo!
