PO1 William "Chip" Nagel Boy, do I remember those days, especially the night we arrived at boot camp. That is a day EVERY Marine or person who tried to become a Marine will remember for the rest of their life. I think every recruit was thinking, "What the hell did I get myself into joining the Marines?"

Cpl Vic Burk My Father Enlightened Me about Paris Island, Told Me All I Needed to Hear. I Joined the Navy, Where I would still end up being Trained by a Marine and would train Marines.

I said the same thing when I hit Lackland, They must plan on bringing recruits in the middle of the nite to keep them off balance
