Not surprised as this is the standard MO of authoritarian socialism.
While there are some big differences (like forced labor camps and executions) I feel social media in ways has devolved into an authoritarian socialism where the society resides within the context of "social media" (technocratic socialism) ruled by technocrats. These technocrats set vague rules and terms to their liking and are self appointed arbitrators of the truth. The technocrats define the narrative that they "align" with and if run a foul of the rules or have ideas that run counter to the narrative you get booted from the platform. The technocrat's way of loading people into vans.
