The new Nuclear Agreement deal has lifted the restraints of serious sanctions allowing Russia to sell surface to air missiles to Iran. This is not a new desire of Russia (to sell) or Iran (to acquire) surface to air missiles. Previous attempt by Russia to do this were made in 2007 but were blocked by the sanctions that were in place at the time.

Great work by the POTUS's and former SoS's with the foreign policy. Not sure how they could undermine that last 50 years but its seems they have come close to succeeding. Wouldn't be surprised if some of these showed up in Yemen and started shooting down Saudis.
