As soon as Irma's path has been figured out, let's put that hate-filled gas bag in the path.

I'm not sure I understand how Limbaugh can say that Hurricane Irma is fake. This absolutely blows my mind. The media and some bureaucrats are starting to get way out there with the things they report on and say.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - To me, it doesn't sound like he's trying to minimize the sense of danger. Just the panic people are feeling. Of course, if you don't understand Limbaugh's sense of humor, it's easy to read into his sarcasm something that wasn't meant. These are the points that I'm getting from what he said:
1. Tap water is safe to drink.
2. Business loves to exploit people's fear for a profit.
3. The storm is likely to hit but there's still a small chance it won't. Regardless, refer to point 2.
4. Don't panic if you can't buy bottled water. Fill up some containers you have lying around the house prior to the storm. Again, tap water is safe to drink.
5. In no way does he encourage or discourage people getting out of Florida for the storm. He simply is griping about, what he perceives as, the media dramatizing the story.
6. Tap water is safe to drink. (He kept mentioning this point. I wonder why...)
7. If you run out of tap water, collect rain water. It's safe to drink too.
8. Rush and his team plan to continue broadcasting despite the storm.

I do not think the walking abcess has a sense of humor at all. He just uses humor as a excuse when called on his vile BS.

Seems odd to that he would be such a good ENTERTAINER without a sense of humor (his talk show is classified as news entertainment) Still, if you want to assume that everything he says is taken by his fans as scripture, that's your choice. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - Indeed, it was my local media. My hometown was ~99% exposure and pop is right around 50,000. First the local paper, and then the broadcasters joined in about how we needed to stock up food and water, as well as fill up on gas, because it was all going to run out. Grocery stores and gas stations made out like bandits. Meanwhile the paper pissed off most of the local restaurant owners, who had ordered extra food, and were actually looking at less business than typical rather than more due to all the fear mongering. On the bright side, those of us who honey-badgered our way through the eclipse got great service at the local restaurants. Also, nothing really ran out. Turns out business owners in my town knew how to plan ahead better than the media wanted us to think.

We have at least twenty gallons of water, and we will fill up
both bathtubs with non-potable water for other uses. Now multiply that by a million.
