Go for it! Brings back memories. My big deal wasn’t the flight suit, but it WAS mastering the helicopter “game” (hovering) machine on Post - provided I had enough coins to put in. I really think it helped me get ready for actual training...... I appreciate your great enthusiasm. BTW, it wears off a bit once you find yourself “doing your thing” day in and day out.

Say it isn't so! CW5 John M. I look forward to countless decades of "How are you?" "I'm great. I'm about to head into a metal tube and fly it to another location". My partner says, "Will you do the dishes tonight?" "I'm about to head into a metal tube and fly it to another location, so pass. Early night for me. Hey, Don't forget to turn the light out when you come to bed."

A1C Ian Williams - I hear what you’re saying. In my case, I was just as enthusiastic about “driving a car” back in the day. Nowadays I “fly” drones (and drive tractors) and someday “dream” of building/ flying my own ultra-lite. Hold on to your dreams... they make great memories when your my age.....

*eyes grow large and shine with wonder. What's a tractor? CW5 John M. I mean what's it like to be inside a tractor? I hear so many songs about this.

Do it. Love it. Just don't ever let your flight school friends or instructors see you do it. ;)
I'd crucify anybody I caught before they winged, and endlessly (and mercilessly) mock anybody with wings, but we all get it. It is what it is. You wanna go fast! And fly high! Or Whatever!
Flying is the greatest thing there is, man. You do you.

Thank you, sir LCDR (Join to see) Not that you have to, would you be as bold as to share your best photo and story of your flight suit?

I honestly don't know if I have photos in my flight suit. I avoid pictures mostly. I did, however, have a great experience at Flight Suit Friday in API.
After we get through the majority of the initial academic rigors we're given our flight gear, and that Friday we all pitch in on a bar tab at the officers' club there in Pensacola. We wear our flight suits and get silly, it's a good time. I had the pleasure of drinking pitchers with several of the Blue Angel's, who at that time seemed to me more like superheroes than aviators. Boss Frosh was super nice, gave us lots of advice, and put down a couple shots with us.
