I created quite a stir here at RP by saying he was doing his job. That's what Prosecutors do. I didn't say I liked it, but it is the Prosecutors job to put guilt in the minds of the jurors, that shouldn't diminish a person's belief in Kyle's innocence if they thought that before the Prosecutor walked around the courtroom with the rifle.

Unfortunately, in his closing arguments, the Prosecutor made a mockery of untold numbers of timeless gun safety laws; the 2 main ones being "don't point your weapon at other folks unless you are shooting at them" and "unless you're going to shoot, get your finger off and away from the trigger". The beating he's taking for that stunt is well earned. He's also screwed the Prosecution's case so bad, due to his own ignorance or intentional misconduct, I'm guessing he probably will be charged with some level of malfeasance after it's over. The incident with the gun, however, just cements his extremely high ranking on the World's All-time D*psh*t list. If I was on that jury I would have stood up and yelled at him for doing that. "Just doing his job" is not a justification for his actions.
