Republicans are all about the rule of law, until the law comes for them. They throw out words like lawfare, witch-hunt, etc because they have no defense for their transgressions.

Almost all of the lawsuits mentioned have either been settles or are still ongoing.
Your characterization is false.
But this is a good encapsulation of the left's turn to lawfare as a legitimate tactic. If you can't debate them, sue them into oblivion.

If there is anything that is going to bring large scale violence to our country it is a politically driven justice system. We both have stated our dislike of Trump and that said, it is hard to say the court cases against him are not politically driven. I see some right wing extremists bringing violence if he receives jail time for the NY case.
