I don’t disagree that China wasn’t forthcoming on information. However, that does not absolve us of a wasted month in response with claims of it being a Democratic Party conspiracy. That was a completely self inflicted wound.

The current variation of corona virus isn't covered by the patent. The current version is meant to attack the host, not another illness as is the case with the patented offering. The US Patent for the corona virus was a modification of the original virus:
"The present invention provides a live, attenuated coronavirus comprising a variant replicase gene encoding polyproteins comprising a mutation in one or more of non-structural protein(s) (nsp)-10, nsp-14, nsp-15 or nsp-16. THE CORONAVIRUS MAY BE USED AS A VACCINE FOR TREATING AND/OR PREVENTING A DISEASE, such as infectious bronchitis, in a subject."
