Both teams should get one possession in OT, unless you only care about a coin toss. The only fair way to see who played the best. No skill by teams involved in a coin toss. All luck.

That's even better. Not giving the other team an equal chance does not give a clear picture of who came to win. It was an amazing comeback by KC but BUF got no chance to reply, as they had previously in the game. I'm without bias regarding the teams but the principle of fairness matters a lot to me.
