My comment, "This is an interesting report on people's migration on their destination city, and where they are moving from - Can anyone say Seattle?"
While sunny Miami claimed the title of the most popular potential migration destination, Phoenix was also among the top metros that attracted out-of-state movers. The majority of potential Phoenix residents are in Seattle, which ranked as the No. 7 metro that homebuyers are looking to leave.

I can only guess how long this will last. When I was a kid in Tucson, our well was drawing water at about 85ft. My brother said they had to deepen the well for a third time and now they are drawing water at 490ft. Barring some major innovative solution, the major metropolitan areas in the SW will be ghost towns by the end of the century.
