Wow, Colonel, you are a master at conflating issues. To be fair, we don't know nothing about nothing yet. We're all venting passion without purpose. This incident has spawned gun/anti-gun battles, LGBT battles, etc. The streets are awash with demonstrators fighting with banners and placards. The Internet is awash with rabid discussion threads. Why don't we build catch basins for all this passion and bleed it off gently to inspire rational discussion of real issues? We're leaders. We can do that, can't we, rather than throw fuel onto the fires?

SGT John West
CPT Jack,
Would you rather we continue to allow 1,000 Muslim "refugees" a day come into our country and have more attacks like this?
That nightclub was a soft target. What happens when we have another Hassan Nadal like attack on a military installation? Or, an attack like San Bernadino? And the bad guys have backup and are committed to dieing?
No sir. We must stop the immigration of middle eastern men into our country NOW! I don't care if the shooter was married or not. He was indoctrinated into theTaliban mindset and had death of innocent people as his plan.

COL Ted Mc
SGT John West - Sergeant; At 1,000 per day that would mean that the US admitted 365,250 refugees during FY2015.
The actual number of refugees admitted to the United States of America during FY2015 was 70,000 (and that includes ALL religions).
PS - The percentage of refugees who are women and/or children under 12 years of age is approximately 60% so that means that approximately 28,000 males (of all religious denominations) over the age of 12 were admitted to the US during FY2015 (that works out to around 77 per day)
Now I don't want to say that it is a fact that your opinions aren't based in reality and/or prejudice, but I do ask you to ask yourself if you would be making the same claims against a religion if the Orlando murderer was a "Christian" who was "killing gays" because "The Bible says to kill homosexuals."? [I suspect that you wouldn't and that you'd be claiming that he wasn't a "True Christian" only a mentally deranged person - but I could be wrong.]

Everything to do with religion: Muslims hate gays, and throughout history they had killed lots of them. I don't get why LBGT people defend their "Muslim Brothers".
