The author of the cited article makes the mistake of using the results of the "average soldier". The average soldier is not shooting up a bunch of unarmed civilians who may be initially unaware of the attack, in a night club. Additionally people may have fallen and chosen to "play dead". They would be easy targets for coup de grace shots, as he advanced.

Seems to be a lot of them now a days, wonder what is triggering them.

Of course, anything's possible.
But think, one armed man against some 100 or so victims? Not one of them had a means of protection?
A lone wolf is only a wolf if the prey is a bunch of sheep.
Unfortunately, they saw themselves as sheep. Isis is only Isis because they "terror"ize us. Better question, is when are we as Americans going to stop being sheep?
