Let me get this straight though.... A person that failed at his job...has an opinion we should be listening to, because he has more experience at failing then we do in that job?

His progressive, agenda driven administration was for his benefit and his alone. Anything he says now as a privet citizen is in the same ilk.... only to benefit himself

SFC Michael Hasbun - Who's definition of objective? In my lifetime, I can think of one and one-half President's who was less successful, President Carter; and President George W. Bush who became a tax and spend Republican in his second term. I would even rate President Nixon higher. His policies were good, but like President Obama, he weaponized the government to his own ends.

I find this somewhat ironic. President Obama clearly in favor of amassing more power in the executive branch; an executive branch that will not stay in it's lane, where the administration weaponizes different agencies.

He told us how he feels about strongman politics when he was in office.

“We’re not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we’re providing Americans the kind of help they need. I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone, and I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions and administrative actions that move the ball forward in helping to make sure our kids are getting the best education possible, making sure that our businesses are getting the kind of support and help they need to grow and advance, to make sure that people are getting the skills that they need to get those jobs that our businesses are creating.”

Let me read between the lines. He doesn't care that founding fathers set the system up where we the people must develop a strong consensus that change is needed, and we the people through our legislators, have developed a strong consensus on how to proceed. So he will proceed on what he thinks is right, regardless of our elected legislators.

He's slicker at it than most, conceals it well, but that is a man who wanted to be and to some extent was a strongman politician.
