And probably going to lose a lot of good ones because they don’t want to be fired or sued in defending themselves. I’m not sure but they will either have to pay a lot for new recruits or bonus the heck out of them. I’m sure if anyone is will to take this job in the future but I hope that’s not true

"An NYPD officer has been charged with assault, criminal mischief, harassment and menacing for allegedly "violently" shoving a 20-year-old woman to the ground during a Barclays Center protest over the death of George Floyd, prosecutors said Tuesday."
Only a few problems with the narrative, She approached the officer to confront him which makes her in violation of the law and the aggressor. The officer used the least amount of force to have her moved out of the lane of travel of the unit moving. Now as for the paper spraying video, the ANTIFA member was being pushed back away from the officer and out of the roadway with what looks like instruction to step away and refused to do so his mask was pulled down and the next level of force was used in the form of a chemical agent. both usees of force were no more than needed to gain compliance. Both instances are being blown way out of proportion for a political narrative. based on false information by political movements.
what both of these people are guilty of is they congregated with other persons in a public place and refuses to comply with a lawful order of the police to disperse which fits Disorderly conduct violation, and A person is guilty of unlawful assembly when he/she assembles with four or more other persons for the purpose of engaging or preparing to engage with them in tumultuous and violent conduct likely to cause public alarm, or when, being present at an assembly which either has or develops such purpose, he remains there with the intent to advance that purpose. Unlawful assembly is a class B misdemeanor. The optics may not be pleasant, the protestors new the risk they take being involved in this behavior and the options law enforcement uses to gain compliance may be to forceable move subjects without arresting them. which appears to be what occurred. context matters when judging the actions of both protester and officer and the verbal command that is given throughout the protest to the illegally assembled protestors.
